Second day of shooting. Can’t remember if this was dawn or dusk - but the tone was set for the rest of the trip. We’d be seeing a lot more sunrises and sunsets.

A portrait of Forrest I took after kicking up some dust on the lake bed. Love this moment.

Andy and I lugging gear around. Loved the team effort everyone put in, all hands on deck the entire trip. By this point I seemed to have assumed the role of team cowboy. Image by Matt Cherubino - the happiest guy on set.

Andrew Gough, Eric Everly and Dave Vernick chasing our team of riders along the coastline. I’m sat in the back watching some of the most beautiful shots of the film being created.

Out the window of the helicopter. Honestly chasing the boys up the beach was such an incredible rush. Had to remind myself to snap a few photos along the way.

Matt Cherubino actually took this photo, it’s a portion of the copious maps I had on the walls of our accommodation in Ensenada. I had planned out every route each camera and helicopter team would take in order to play leapfrog with the race team and capture mid race shots. I spent quite a few late nights pouring over these maps and could probably count the hours of sleep I had in the week leading up to the race on two hands haha.

Our first day of filming with the team. We travelled from LA to Santa Barbara to shoot Derek Ausserbauer in his home town. It was a pretty special moment watching the team come together that would end up spending a couple months together chasing motorcycles through the desert.
